POSITION SUMMARY

Jaclyn Foster Paralegal group in collaboration with a top Mt. Laurel family law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney.

Our firm is growing and we are looking for a family law attorney to join our team. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements, attending divorce hearings, alimony/spousal support and child support. The candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up-to-date.
  • Division of marital assets, including real estate.
  • Preparation of family law related pleadings and correspondence.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients.
  • Represent clients in court.
  • Must be prepared to step in and handle pieces of existing family law cases; as well as handle new cases, as part of a team, from consultation through trial.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active membership with the ABA
  • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants.
  • Great negotiator and communicator, especially in high-stress situations
  • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and JD required.
  • Admitted to practice in New Jersey
  • 4 years of family law experience
  • Independently handle caseload
  • Strong written, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Excellent research skills
  • An existing book of business is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:

$100,000-$150,000 yearly DOE
